Dear Rebecca:
I am back in Seattle now, relieved that my mother is in a good home. I want to thank you for rising to the occasion and finding her a placement that she is comfortable and safe in such a short amount of time. I still can’t believe how fast you did that!
I arrived in California on Monday, talked to the social worker on Tuesday and was told I had to have her moved by Friday. This was daunting, considering I know nothing about the system in California. I was armed with a list of homes that were way out of our price range and through that I was given your phone number. Even though you were sick, you were willing to make calls and get back to me in a timely fashion.
By Thursday, you picked me up and showed me the board and care that was a great fit for my mother. You even brought Marilou to the hospice to meet my mother and process all of the paperwork. My mother is now in her new home and loves it! She even has her own room and bathroom.
You have gone above and beyond my expectations and I am ever so grateful. Honestly, I don’t know what I would have done if you had not stepped in. Thank you so much for your hard work. You really made a difference in my family’s life.
