Susan and Rick Peterson are founders and owners of Senior Living Options of the Desert.
With over 20 years involvement in the eldercare industry, Susan is well known and highly respected in this field.
Prior to relocating to the desert, Susan owned Winter Bloom which consisted of seven eldercare residences in Orange County.
Seeing an industry-wide need for a higher level of care, she founded the Association of Residential Care Homes, which provides continuing education classes for Board and Care owners.
Susan has also been actively involved in the Orange County chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and served on the Board of Directors of the California Assisted Living Association. She participated in a task force to develop curriculum for the Gerontology Department at Cal State Fullerton.
Prior to founding Senior Living Options of the Desert Rick’s professional background is in business and sales management, specializing in marketing and public relations. He is also a licensed realtor and is involved in the development of Residential Care Facilities (RCFE’s).
Their family is well-respected for their involvement in the Coachella Valley medical community.
Susan’s extensive involvement in the eldercare community coupled with Rick’s expansive business knowledge makes for a powerful team; a team that is devoted to each and every one of their clients.
